Being a seed planter for God
sparks within me a fire
inspired to go into the world
and witness God’s desire

for who can tell what will become
a future bright and fair
of some poor soul who lost his way
and turns to God in prayer
____
sometimes it’s hard to proclaim life
discouragement sets in
as people reject Jesus Christ
and continue in sin
____
I see the need for them as souls
to understand the cross
that’s why it’s crucial to press on
in reaching all the lost
____
one may never live long enough
to see what he has done
in planting the seed of one’s faith
in lifting up God’s Son
____
for someday there may come a change
in someone’s life you know
by accepting Christ as their Lord
that seed began to grow
____
and now you have a soul that’s saved
from everlasting fire
eternally grateful for God’s servant
whose message was so dire
